TERRY SAFOREK  November 5, 1946 - April 28, 2014

1975: 775 Post Street, #207, San Francisco, CA After high school graduation, Terry entered UI. He graduated in 1970 with a major in business. In 1971, Terry spent time in Synanon in Santa Monica, licking a drug addiction problem, and worked for an advertising specialty business owned and operated by some of Synanon's residents. He left Synanon, a year ago and joined the Walter Cribbin's Company, an advertising agency. Terry's major interests include music, skiing, and fishing. He is a member of the San Francisco Advertising Club.

1985: Terry is a Vice-President at Walter W. Cribbins Company, Inc. Advertising in San Francisco. Terry enjoys reading, dining out, dancing and skiing. Terry owns a home in Marin County north of the Golden Gate bridge. He says he is really enjoying San Francisco. Terry's address is:  321 Ross  Drive,  Mill  Valley,  CA

Terry Saforek, 67, died peacefully at home in Salem, OR on April 28, 2014, after a long history of heart disease. Terry was born to Alice (Rothlisberger) and Arden “Cook” Saforek in Washington, IA, November 5, 1946. He was a 1965 City High graduate, and received his degree in business from the University of Iowa.

Terry worked as an advertising executive in the San Francisco Bay area for over forty years before moving to Oregon to be closer to the grandkids. Terry and his wife enjoyed traveling and saw much of the world.

Terry is survived by his lovely wife, Chris Centanni, three stepchildren, Matt, Scott, and Kim, eight grandchildren; and a sister Dona, of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved dog, Bubbles.
