Kathy Lee Russell, 53, of Orange, California, died Tuesday, October 24, 2000 in Orange.
Services were Friday, October 27, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. at the Waverly Church in Santa Ana, California. Visitation was Thursday at the Fairhaven Mortuary with interment at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Russell was born to Bill and Betty Roberge on March 25, 1947, in Iowa City, Iowa. She and her husband, Phil Russell, were the owners of Russell's Crane Service in Orange County.
Survivors include her husband; her parents; two sisters, Janelle Wagner of Iowa City and Teresa Simmons; two brothers, William Roberge and Mark Roberge; and her father-in-law, Charles Russell.

I loved spending time with Kathy in grade school and early junior high. We liked to ride bicycles together and I was with her when she had a spill and jammed the tip of her nose into the tube missing the grip on the handlebar. Zounds! It bled a lot and we were worried the flap of tissue from the nose was going to sever before we got back to her house. A lot of fun memories with Kathy...and Rosemary Mason lived close by Kathy's place too. I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing! <3
