Marilee Kay Phares passed away Oct. 20, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center.

Born February 13, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Marion and Wilda (Lindley) Phares. She leaves behind son, Gerald Smith, daughter, Dawn and husband Mark Hines, daughter, Kelli and husband James Cameron. Grandchildren Dustin, Andrew, Ben, Randall, Mariah, Jospeh, Trevor, and Jacob. Great grandchildren, Neveah, Scott and Adrian. Brothers, Dennis Phares, Terry and wife, Wanda Phares. Sisters, Linda Snodgrass and husband Don, Jerry Weaver and husband Marc, Robin Phares, Stacy Leach and husband Richard. Many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Lady Lee worked at Village Inn for 15 years and retired. She enjoyed reading and dancing. Preceded in death by her parents and nephew, David.

Services will be at University Church of Christ, 1555 E. University, Wednesday Oct. 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations, to help pay for funeral expenses, to Stacy Leach.
