1975: (Mrs. Gary Gottschalk), 2541 Bayberry Ct., Bettendorf, IA Carol attended Iowa State University and received her BS in Art Education in 1969. She and her husband, Gary, live in Bettendorf, where Carol is a homemaker and Gary is manager of the parts distribution center for Deere and Co. They have a son, Joe. who is 5, and a daughter, Emily, who is 9 months old.

1985: Carol is a homemaker and also does part time substitute teaching. Her husband, Gary, works for John Deere Company. They have one son, Joe (16). Their address is: 1307 Chesterton, Richardson, TX

Preceded in death by daughter, Emily Gottschalk; and father, H.A. Grenawalt. Survived by sons, Joe and Brian Gottschalk; grandson, Peter Gottschalk; mother, Anabel Grenawalt; brother, Bill Grenawalt; and sisters, Betsy Hysell and Katie Wilken.

Carol enjoyed a rewarding career in education, beginning with art education and later reading development skills. Working with children was her greatest joy. Carol had a strong religious faith, firmly believing that death would not be the end, but the beginning of another life. Now she is with Jesus and those who have gone before her. Services will be held at BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 490 North 4th Street, Bayport, MN on May 7th at 11 AM. Interment will be a private family service in Minburn, IA. The family extends their gratitude to her many friends for all the love, kindness, prayers and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to your local Hospice.
