My neighbor from birth (he was two weeks older than I), a "mensch," and a guy who'd always be there for you if you needed, Terry Eugene Reynolds was taken from us much too soon!
On this near anniversary of his passing, to his widow and family, let it be known that in my heart and memory banks, Terry is gone but not forgotten.
Peace to his loved ones; a blessed memory to the rest of us!

I remember Terry Reynolds as a "straight up" guy.
Paul called Terry a "mensch". A person of honor and integrity. I agree.
Terry is, and will be, missed by all who knew him.

Paul's and David's moving and touching words about Terry, compelled me to want to re-post my thoughts from two years ago, January 12, 2016.

I know our class has been deeply feeling the loss of our classmate Terry Reynolds, since his passing last Friday, January 8th. I consider it a special honor to have known Terry and to have been his classmate through Longfellow, Central, Southeast and City High. Visiting and laughing with him once a month, for 18 months during the 50th reunion committee planning meetings made them all the more enjoyable and memorable. Seeing Terry and saying HI to him around town with his ever present smile and humor was an added bonus. Terry was a one-of-a-kind type of guy. Many of you, I thought, would want to watch the video slide tribute of Terry's life, which was showing on several screens during Terry's visitation and memorial service.

Terry made a great impact on many people in the Iowa City area, and a long continuous line of his friends paid their respects to Christy, wonderful children Ty and Amanda ...and Christy's admirably engaging Mother, who looked and acted nothing even close to her 97 years of age. You'd be proud of Christy's remarkable inner strength and the way she and her family acknowledged each and every person with customized words. May Terry rest in peace.
