Graduated from Iowa State March 1969. Married college mistake (oops, Freudian. Seriously) 1968. Shelley born Nov 1970 month before "mistake" went to VN. Divorced 1972. Returned to IA. Married Bob 1974 and became "second Mom" to Rob. Left Pleasant Hill for Houston TX area 1980. Moved to Dallas area 1985. Worked for Tenneco, Frito-Lay, American Airlines and Vought Aircraft. Employee benefits design and management. Illness landed me on long term disability 1994. Bob retired 2001; replaced house with 40-ft motor home and set off to see the country. Spent lots of time with kids and grandkids in IN and KS and with Moms in IA. Bob's Mom died 2014 and my Mom is in Alzheimer's facility in Cedar Rapids. We are family farm caretakers so spending lots more time in IA. Love the beauty and serenity here.

Joe that is a wonderful story of redemption if you will. I don't remember you but my memory is not my strong feature. I look forward to meeting you in September tho even if we knew each other at city high 56 years has this certain affect on appearance! Take care.

My apologies, Linda. After Susan Hendriksen told me she wouldn't be around, I got in touch with Sue Phipps. She and I have been working on the table since then. Neither of us realized you were too. Sue and I have discussed 'decor' if you will and she has made a poster of a poem we planned to include on the table. Right now we're in the process of finding out the size of the table we would have at Iowa River Power and the availability/color of a tablecloth. Sue planned to handle the flowers.
